Gene Kim is a Dancer, Filmmaker, and Musician passionate about the innovative melding of all three creative outlets. He currently studies Film and Commercial Music at Northwestern University (Class of 2022).
Film
Gene specializes in the post-production side of filmmaking, and has had training in Editing, Color Correction, and Motion Graphics. His work was featured at Homescreen Dance Film Festival.
Dance
Gene been dancing for 6 years, and is a member of the dance community in the Chicago area. He has directed and choreographed multiple dance projects for groups of 15+ dancers.
He has previously been on Piecemakers Dance Team (CHI) and Refresh Dance Crew (CHI). He has also been involved in The Drop and Ethos online dance programs.
Music
Gene has had training in Violin (11 years) and Classical Guitar (1.5 years). He has previously played Violin with VBODA Virginia Orchestra.
